The last time I went to England I attended London Fashion Week.
Fashion Scout was the one that invited me to participate in it, where I could meet several emerging and established designers, go to their fashion shows and discover the new collections. An extremely enriching and stimulating experience.

In a world where everybody wants to stand out and still belong, we are constantly looking for things that make the difference, especially when it comes to clothes. Personally, I'm quite classic but I always try to add something extra to the outfit, a detail, colour or an accessory that represents me. Camel and more camel, we've been seen a lot of it lately on the runways and on the street, especially on coats. However, the other day while chatting with friends I realised that not everybody dares to wear them, why? because they don't know how to style them. Pero conversando con amigas me dí cuenta que no todos se animan a usarlos ¿por qué? por no saber cómo. How To Deal With Anxiety

This is probably not the title you'd expect to see on the blog, but one of my goals for this year is that you know me a little more, so I decided to add a new category, the personal one.        

I would like to start with something we all suffer from time to time, some more and some less and there's nothing to be ashamed of: anxiety. Personally, I tend to suffer from it quite a lot. At first, I didn't know how to control it but over time I've learned so just by doing little changes.

ES: Este probablemente no sea el típico título que esperan ver en el blog, pero uno de mis objetivos para el 2016 es darme a conocer un poco más, por lo cual he decidido agregar una nueva categoría: la personal.

Me gustaría empezar con algo que todos sufrimos de vez en cuando, unos más, otros menos y de lo que no hay nada que avergonzarse: la ansiedad. Al principio no sabía cómo controlarla pero a través del tiempo he aprendido a hacerlo con sólo algunos pequeños cambios.

Multimedia has revolutionised the world and, the fashion one, is not the exception, being YouTube the most chosen site. Nowadays, the number of brands and designers that use fashion films to promote a product or their collections are increasing. Showing an outfit on video is more attractive, dynamic, detailed and it's just a click away.So, why don't try to do a fashion film showing you my look from another perspective with a story behind it? Moving To a New Country

"New year, new country", this is not the typical phrase, I know. but that's how I started my 2016: in a different city, with other customs, same language and a lot of projects. Almost like a brand-new life. About a month ago, I finished my studies in fashion and flew from Buenos Aires to Madrid without layover to start my life on the other side of the ocean. After so much time traveling between those two to visit part of my family and to keep up with university, wondering how it would be like to move to the foreign, I finally get to experience it.

At first, my brain was in vacation mode, thinking that I would take a plane back home at any moment, I kept rushing from one place to another trying to use my time to the maximum, and barely sleeping! Luckily, as the days passed, I assimilated it more and now I can really enjoy my nights (something that my body is thankful for).

Anyways, now it's been 31 days that I been living in this beautiful Spanish town and though I am still settling down and learning all the new manners and slangs, I'm full of hope and really happy about this new chapter in my life. 

ES: "Año nuevo, país nuevo", no es el típico refrán, lo sé, pero así comencé el 2016: en una ciudad diferente, con otras costumbres, mismo lenguaje y muchos proyectos. Casi como una nueva vida.

Un mes atrás, finalicé mis estudios en moda y volé de Buenos Aires a Madrid sin escalas para empezar esta etapa al otro lado del océano. Después de tanto tiempo viajando entre las dos capitales para visitar a mi familia y terminar la universidad, pensando en cómo sería establecerme en el extranjero, finalmente puedo experimentarlo. 

Al principio mi cerebro estaba en modo vacaciones, sentía que en cualquier momento subiría a un avión de regreso y me la pasaba yendo de acá para allá, queriendo aprovechar mi tiempo al máximo ¡casi ni dormía! pero con el correr de los días fui asimilándolo más y relajándome (algo que mi cuerpo agradece). 

Hoy, ya hace 31 días que estoy viviendo en esta hermosa ciudad española, aún acomodándome y adaptándome a su cultura y, aunque he dejado varias cosas atrás, estoy muy contenta y llena de esperanza por escribir este nuevo capítulo en mi vida.

Well, I'm about to reveal it...*drums sound please* I decided to start a YouTube channel! I found the need to communicate with you guys in a more personal way and I think doing videos is a great way to do so. There I'll be uploading tips, outfit ideas, how-tos, makeup tutorials and personal things just like facts or Q&A's. But, of course, the blog is my main source so I won't leave it behind, in fact, I will be posting more frequently. Now let me introduce you my first video (second, actually, because I did one a couple of years ago showing you my makeup routine). It's a call "How to wear a little black dress like an it-girl"not that I am one, but you know, a good title is everything. Anyways, there I show you 3 stylish ways to combine it. I Have a Thing For Monochrome

If you open my closet, basics, neutrals and a few printed pieces it is all you'll see. There is something about dressing up with those from head to toes that I love, it makes me feel comfortable and sure. I can't image myself wearing bright colours or bold prints, that's just not me.

Outfit Ideas To Look Great In Your Favourite Pair Of Ripped Jeans

Hi, guys! This week I've been a little absent and I apologise for that, these last days were hectic due to university, essays, productions and I'm still getting used to the new schedule. Now having said that, let's talk about fashion!You know how much I love jeans, right? Well, the ripped ones are my favourites, though depending on the model it can make us look more masculine or informal, which doesn't mean we can't be feminine or take them to the office, the key is to know how to wear it. 

ES: Hola! Esta semana estuve un poco ausente y no subí nada al blog, la verdad les pido disculpas pero fueron unos días intensos entre la facultad, trabajos prácticos y producciones estuve de acá para allá. Ahora sí, habiendo dicho esto ¡hablemos de moda!

Los jeans rasgados son unos de los que más me gustan, sin embargo dependiendo del modelo nos hacen ver más masculinas o informales, lo cual no quiere decir que no podamos lucir femeninas o llevarlos a la oficina, la clave está en saber con qué usarlo. 

Tips To Change Your Outfit From Day To Night In Just a Few Seconds

I am one of those people that or they either have nothing to do or a lot, there's no in between, and we can substitute a bag with a clutch and a cardigan with a blazer or leather jacket. Replace the sneakers and flats with a pair of stilettos or something high and for the accessories, choose something sparkly or a statement necklace. Another thing that plays a huge role is the makeup, you can wear a red lipstick or make your eyes the main focus with a dark eyeshadow and a cat eye. And that's it, you are ready to go from the office to have some fun!

sometimes I don't have time to change my clothes for the night, which surely it happens to many of you. But for any problem there is a solution: we can wear the same outfit to both occasions by just doing little changes and renewing our look completely. For example,

ES: Soy de esas personas que, o no tienen nada que hacer o tienen de todo, y tal vez del día a la noche no cuento con mucho tiempo para cambiarme, lo cual quizás a muchas de ustedes les suele pasar. Pero para todo problema existe una solución: podemos tener el mismo outfit para ambas ocasiones con sólo cambiar unos detalles de nuestro look para renovarlo totalmente. Por ejemplo: sustituimos una cartera por un clutch, un saco por un blazer o campera de cuero. Las zapas o chatitas las cambiamos por stilettos o algún calzado más elevado y para los accesorios, elijan algo con brillo o un statement necklace. El maquillaje también juega un rol fundamental: usen un rojo para los labios o destaquen los ojos con una sombra oscura y un cat eye. Y listo ¡ya están preparadas para ir de la oficina a divertirse!

How To Look Chic In a White Tee (Summer Edition)

One of the basic pieces that must be in your closet is the white tee, it is truly versatile and we can wear it from day to night. However, it is not the typical top we choose to go to the office or to any other semi-formal occasion because we tend to relate it with a more casual style, especially in summer when wearing layers is not an option. But it all depends on how we style it!

ES: Si de básicos hablamos la simple remera blanca ocupa uno de los primeros lugares, es súper versátil y la podemos usar tanto en el día como en la noche. Sin embargo, y sin darnos cuenta, muchas veces a la hora de vestirnos  para una salida formal o ir a la oficina no la elegimos porque tendemos a relacionarla con algo casual, pero todo depende de cómo la combinemos.

Off-Duty Trousers

As some of you might know I'm a fashion producer student and in two weeks I will be starting my classes again, something for which I'm very excited about, giving that this semester I'll have very interesting subjects such as fashion production, photography, oral and written communication and fashion design. The first two are the ones that I have more expectations for; fashion production because this year, as part of our exam, we are going to have to organize a runway show (how cool is that?) unlike the previous one when we had to do a photo shoot for a magazine inspired by the comic style film "Scott Pilgrim vs the World"; while, on the other hand, I've always wanted to know more about the photographic world. Can't wait to show you guys my projects and progress as a student on Instagram and the blog!

But before university starts I need to have everything in order, so the other day I took advantage of the mild weather to go hand in some papers and this is what I wore: a slightly loose shirt, nude trousers, a blue bag and to make the outfit less formal a pair of slip-on sneakers Super comfortable! Now tell me, what do you think about wearing this kind of pants outside the office? Do you do that? How do you combine them?

ES: Como algunos saben estudio producción de moda y ya falta poco para que empiecen las clases por lo cual estoy bastante entusiasmada. Este cuatrimestre tendré materias muy interesantes: producción de moda, fotografía, diseño de indumentaria y comunicación oral y escrita. Tengo más expectativas por las dos primeras; producción porque este año el trabajo práctico final consistirá en organizar un desfile, a diferencia del anterior que realizamos una producción fotográfica para una revista inspirada en la película "Scott Pilgrim vs. the World" la cual tenía un estilo cómic; mientras que, por otro lado, siempre quise introducirme en el mundo de la fotografía. Así que próximamente les estaré compartiendo en Instagram y en el blog varios de mis proyectos y avances como estudiante.

Pero antes de empezar necesito tener todo en regla así que el otro día fui a llevar unos papeles que me faltaban y este fue el outfit que usé: pantalones de vestir en color nude, remera suelta rosa pálido, cartera azul y para sacarle un poco de formalidad al look decidí ponerme unas panchas ¡súper cómodas! ¿Ustedes qué opinan sobre usar este tipo de pantalones fuera del trabajo? ¿Lo hacen?

That's the moment that we convince ourselves that only solution is to go shopping and whether it is a lot of fun the majority of us aren't millionaires. So that is why I thought about doing this post and give you various options for you to get inspired and wear what you already have not only this Saturday but on any other date or especial occasion.

ES: El día de San Valentín se acerca y si bien no todas lo pasaremos acompañadas hay muchas que ya se estarán preguntando ¿qué me pongo? Y claro, seguramente la respuesta es "no tengo nada" porque las mujeres somos así, podemos tener un placard lleno de ropa que nunca, NUNCA, vamos a tener qué ponernos y es ahí cuando nos convencemos que la única solución es salir de compras. Por eso pensé en hacer este post y darles varias ideas para que así, con lo que tengan y un poco de inspiración, puedan armar conjuntos increíbles que no solo sirven para el día de los enamorados sino también para cualquier otra cita u ocasión especial.

All About Green

Hey, guys! I hope you've had a wonderful weekend. Over here, spring is coming and we can feel it; flowers are starting to sprout from the grass, the weather is getting warmer and stores are launching their new summer collection. Last week we had 7 days full of sun, heat and temperatures that we are only accustomed to getting in January and February, which made me crave for summer even more than before. Here is one of the outfits from last week wearing my beloved, and possibly one of my favorites, plaid blazer from Zara (because although we had warm weather on the afternoon, in the morning was a little chilly), jeans, Paruolo flats and a little bag from Prüne, all in the shades of green -except for the pants, duh- Anyways, for the upcoming days the news forecast a couple of precipitations that, trust me, I'm not happy about it, but that's just part of the seasonal change too.

Apart from that, I want to tell you that I'm working on a special fashion project that I'm more than excited to introduce to you soon. So, keep tuned in and follow me on twitter to know about it in advance. 

ES: Hey, guys! Espero que hayan tenido un gran fin de semana. Acá, la primavera se acerca y podemos sentirlo; las flores comienzan a brotar, el clima se vuelve cálido y los locales están lanzando su nueva temporada de verano. La semana pasada tuvimos 7 días llenos de sol, calor, y temperaturas a las que sólo estamos acostumbrados en enero y febrero y esto me hizo anhelar el verano aún más que antes. Aquí les dejo uno de mis outfits de los últimos días usando mi amado, y posiblemente uno de mis predilectos, el tartan blazer de Zara (porque aunque hacía calor durante la tarde por la mañana refrescaba), jeans, chatitas de Paruolo y una carterita de Prüne todo en la gama del verde -excepto los pantalones, duh- De todas formas, para las próximas fechas están anunciadas abundantes precipitaciones y créanme, no estoy para nada contenta al respecto, pero también es parte del cambio de temporada.

Además de eso, quiero contarles que estoy trabajando en un proyecto muy especial relacionado con la moda y más que ansiosa por presentárselo. Así que, manténganse sintonizados y síganme en twitter para enterarse de antemano.

Cargo Pants

COMEBACK  Art has always been a part of me so when I was nine years old I started to take painting lessons and in a few of months, I was already doing big pictures. I used to paint on everything: on embroidery frames, fabric, wood and even porcelain - I was quite an artist- It was very therapeutic for me and I did it for a long time until a couple of years ago I stopped due to the lack of time and a little bit of boredom. But the other day I was watching Criminal Minds, which is one of my favorite series ever, and it was about an art gallery and a man that used blood as paint and it took me back to when I used to do it (only that with oil, of course) and it made me want to return to it. So, I spent that whole afternoon drawing and brushing, and it felt great.That is why I encourage you to take up again a hobby that you used to do and for some reason, you quit. I really enjoyed it and I think you will too! 

ES: El arte siempre me interesó y formó parte de mí. Cuando tenia nueve años comencé a tomar clases de pintura, y en pocos meses ya estaba haciendo grandes cuadros. Solía pintar sobre cualquier tipo de material: bastidor, tela, madera y hasta porcelana -¡era toda una artista!- Lo hice durante varios años, hasta que por complicaciones de horarios y además se me tornó un poco aburrido lo dejé. Pero el otro día mientras estaba mirando un capítulo de Criminal Minds en el cual mostraban un pintor que utilizaba sangre para sus cuadros, retrocedí a aquella época y al recordar lo que pintaba me dieron ganas de volver a mi antiguo hobby. Esa tarde me la pasé dibujando y pintando, lo cual me alegró mucho y ahora hasta creo que voy a retomar mis clases. Por eso, los invito a que piensen en algún hobby o actividad que hayan dejado por cualquier motivo y la pongan en práctica nuevamente a ver cómo se sienten ¡A mi me hizo muy bien y estoy segura de que a ustedes también!

Nude Escale

Has it ever happened to you that you listen to a tune and then it is stuck in your head all day? I imagine yes. Well, that happened to me yesterday after spending some time with my little cousin listening to a song about monkeys that jump on a bed, then they fall and its mother has to call the doctor (maybe you know it.. five little monkeys jumping on the bed, one fell off and bumped his head ♪ and so it goes). Anyway, the thing is that not only last night I dreamed about apes chasing me, but also now I want to go to the zoo. So, here is my question: Is this normal or am I just completely insane? 

ES: Alguna vez les pasó que escucharon una canción y después se les queda en la mente todo el día? Imagino que si. Eso me ocurrió ayer después de haber pasado toda una tarde con mi prima de 3 años escuchando una canción acerca de monitos que saltaban en una cama, se caían y su mamá tenía que llamar al médico (tal vez la conocen.. five little monkeys jumping on the bed, one fell off and bumped his head ♪ y continúa). Lo gracioso es que no sólo soñé con simios persiguiéndome, sino que ahora también me dieron ganas de ir al zoológico. Así que mi pregunta es: ¿Esto es normal o estoy completamente loca?

Lunch Time

Going out for breakfast, dinner or any meal is something I fancy a lot, so when the other day one of my best friends showed up at my front door to have lunch I quickly (and without thinking it too much) grabbed the first thing that I had in-hand. The result was: my pyjama inspired shorts from Zara, a basic grey tee, nude sandals, a little lime bag and, as it was slightly windy, a thin blue cardigan from Banana Republic was a nice detail to add. Not bad for being ready in just 30 minutes, don't you think?

ES: Ir a comer afuera es algo que disfruto muchísimo, así que el otro día cuando una de mis mejores amigas se apareció en la puerta de mi casa para ir a almorzar me puse, sin mucho pensar, lo primero que tenía a mano. El resultado fue: unos shorts estilo pijama de Zara, una remera básica gris, sandalias nude, una carterita color lima y, como estaba un poco ventoso, un cardigan finito azul de Banana Republic fue un lindo detalle para añadir. Nada mal para haber estado lista en 30 minutos ¿o no?
